A Batch Tender will produce product media through batch instructions and formulas.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
1. Preps and stages all batches.
2. Ensures adherence to instructions and formulas. Confirms batch compliance with quality control or shift lead to ensure batch sheets are correct and proper processes are in use.
3. Thoroughly documents and completes paperwork related to batch processes for quality purposes.
4. Meets performance objectives as required.
5. Responsible for work area cleanliness. Includes trash, floors, machine cleanliness, and 5S activities.
6. Provides back-up assistance to other areas of the company as required.
7. Complies with all safety, health, regulatory, and PPE compliance laws and policies.
8. Works with all other batch tenders, packagers, pot cleaners, material handlers. Courteously and professionally interacts with shipping/receiving, quality control, and maintenance.
9. Other responsibilities as assigned by manager.

Minimum Qualifications:
1. High school diploma or GED is preferred, or 3 months or more related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
2. Demonstrated knowledge of basic math understanding.
3. Must have the ability to obtain powered industrial truck permit and safely operate a powered industrial truck.
4. A demonstrated ability to read and follow formulas and instructions.

Working Conditions and/or Physical Demands:
1. Position requires the physical capability to wear and safely utilize a respirator during certain essential functions.
2. Must be able to frequently lift and move up to 50 pounds at times and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds.
3. Employee is regularly required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, and crouch.
